One day, I knew it would happen.
After 4 years of faithful service, it was time to trade the Matchstick GTI in. She served me well. Then she served Melissa like a champ. Here is my artsy photo montage of me saying goodbye. You can see the progression of my “form.”
I’ll miss that old car. I had plenty of great adventures with it.
Old Love
(This one is much less sentimental.)
If you know me, you know I love bbq sauce. Yes, bbq sauce. Fittingly, my favorite comes from Trader Joe’s. And of course, Trader Joe’s loves to screw me over on my favorites every now and again. Like the chicken poppers, or the chicken burgers … Along these lines, my favorite bbq sauce is seasonal. It’s only sold Memorial Day to Labor Day. So between the months of September and May, I’m pretty much out of luck.
Last year, I had the foresight to purchase 2 or 3 bottles before the deadline. However, that barely lasted into the new year. This year, I decided to “Go Big or Go Home.”
And no, I will not share any with you come March.
